秘鲁万卡维利卡洪水与滑坡

当地时间2014年1月20日4时整，秘鲁万卡维利卡省曼塔罗河发生了山体滑坡。山体滑坡和潜在的泥石流危险中断了交通，河畔的村庄预计会遭受洪灾。
受连续多天强降雨的影响，万卡维利卡省发生了山体滑坡，据秘鲁民防局初步评估，33人受灾，33座房屋倒塌，一条铁路受到影响，2430人及1065所房屋被认为处于危险状态中。
库斯科（Cuzco）附近地区强降雨已造成数人死亡，通往印加旅游目的地的铁路被切断，近2000名游客被困滞留在马丘比丘（Machu Pichu）。据预测，暴雨将在1月21日结束，秘鲁25个地区中有15个将受到影响。
