英格兰洪水

12月22日和23日的周末，大雨横扫英国，且预报仍有更多降雨。降雨在全国范围内造成洪水，尤其为西南英格兰和威尔士带来影响。
截至12月24日，环境局已发出140条洪水预警和261条洪水警报，覆盖全国各个地区。
自11月末的洪灾以来，湿涝状况一直持续，已经浸透的土地承受了更多暴雨，引起更大的破坏。
很多家庭由于洪水已经撤离，有人对一些河流（如泰晤士河和塞文河）将要泛滥表示忧虑。
