阿富汗地震
10月26日，UTC时间9：09， 7.5级强烈地震袭击了阿富汗东北兴都库什地区。
最新报告显示，在阿富汗超过80多人死亡，数百人受伤。
兴都库什地区位于阿富汗的巴达赫尚省，靠近巴基斯坦边境，邻近的国家也受到此次地震影响。这次地震造成超过200人死亡。由于兴都库什地区是山区，因此目前很难充分评估灾情。
救援队正在进入该地区的途中，但是受到通信不畅和山体滑坡造成的道路堵塞的阻碍。
美国地质调查局（USGS）报道，地震是在李希特尺度的高端（称之为大地震），深约210公里，这意味着它是一个相对较浅的地震。因为如此，地震造成的伤害比这种震级的地震活动要小。例如今年4月在尼泊尔发生的7.8级地震，造成超过9000人死亡。
虽然地震震中在兴都库什地区，但是阿富汗首都喀布尔市、中国及印度地区都有震感。
